Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist (Cardiac Sonography)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States, supporting Austin and the surrounding metro area. The role requires hospital laboratory work, live patient case attendance, protective gear, variable hours, and up to 40% overnight travel locally, regionally, and nationally.

What you will do

• Provide clinical and technical assistance and training to electrophysiology and interventional cardiology physicians and laboratory staff.
• Support the use of AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR catheters, the CARTO System, CARTOSOUND, CARTOMERGE, and Stockert RF generator during procedures.
• Educate customers on electrophysiology products, instructions for use, best practices, and technical troubleshooting.
• Build relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators, and hospital staff while identifying opportunities for product adoption and growth.
• Coordinate case support, scheduling, customer communication, and collaboration with territory managers, clinical specialists, field service engineers, marketing, and field management.
• Stay current with clinical literature and product developments, solve problems in high-pressure settings, and mentor new electrophysiology commercial team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant professional or military experience.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab.
• Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac ultrasound, echocardiography, cardiac ablation, cardiac imaging, electrophysiology technology, and relevant clinical and healthcare trends.
• Valid United States driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to work in hospital laboratories, attend live patient cases, wear protective gear, work variable hours, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Nice to have

• Electrophysiology, cath lab, cardiovascular device, or complex technical systems experience.
• CEPS, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Experience in critical patient care settings, consultative selling, and translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, autonomy, flexibility, and collaboration skills.
