Location: Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Flint, Michigan, United States; assigned territory travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.

What you will do

  • Achieve sales and market-share growth goals for the Immunology portfolio within the assigned geography.
  • Influence physicians, pharmacists, hospital specialists, and other healthcare decision makers through accurate clinical information and targeted sales messaging.
  • Execute local marketing strategies and develop long-term relationships with key decision makers across healthcare provider systems.
  • Drive product access, acceptance, and usage within targeted gastroenterology, rheumatology, and dermatology academic institutions, hospitals, and clinics.
  • Create and evaluate strategies for developing fellows, residents, and key opinion leaders, while coordinating academic sales efforts with teammates.
  • Develop institutional business plans, maintain call and expense reporting, and represent the company at scientific conventions and educational programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least eight years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, including at least five years of specialty sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license issued by one of the 50 United States.
  • Ability to work in and travel throughout the assigned Michigan territory, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
  • Experience driving product access and understanding process flow for intravenous and subcutaneous products.
  • Ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively in written and oral formats.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations.
  • Knowledge of immunology and/or gastroenterology.
  • Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
  • Management development training, project-oriented selling experience, and documented sales performance.
  • Interest in learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI.
