Base pay: $98,000–$157,550 per year.

What you will do

  • Achieve sales, market share, and growth goals for the immunology product portfolio within the assigned geography.
  • Influence physicians, pharmacists, hospital specialists, and other healthcare decision makers through clinical information, approved medical materials, and therapeutic discussions.
  • Build long-term relationships with gastroenterology teaching institutions, hospitals, clinics, residents, fellows, attending physicians, and key opinion leaders.
  • Drive product access, acceptance, and usage while managing access and fulfillment processes for intravenous and subcutaneous products.
  • Develop and evaluate institutional business plans, academic sales strategies, and programs for fellows, residents, and key opinion leaders.
  • Maintain call reporting, expense accounting, safe-driving practices, communications, scientific convention participation, and educational programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least five years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, including at least three years of specialty sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license issued by one of the 50 United States.
  • Ability to support the Baltimore, Maryland territory and travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical sales, clinical communication, strategic sales planning, customer relationships, and performance measurement.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations.
  • Knowledge of immunology, dermatology, rheumatology, or gastroenterology.
  • Experience managing complex reimbursement issues and project-oriented selling situations.
  • Documented sales performance demonstrating high growth and results against plan.
  • Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI.
