Personal Banker (Banking)

Location: Closter, New Jersey, United States; in-office at the Closter Plaza branch

Base salary: $49,500–$82,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Acquire and deepen branch customer relationships through proactive sales and service activities.
• Conduct outbound calls, appointment setting, teller interactions, and lobby engagement using a defined sales process.
• Identify customer needs and position appropriate banking and financial solutions.
• Build customer loyalty and expand share of wallet through personalized financial conversations.
• Resolve customer problems using product and procedural knowledge while managing branch risk and daily operations.

Requirements

• Typically 3+ years of related experience or relevant product knowledge.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience; comparable education, certifications, or military experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of banking products, retail lending, prospecting, selling, and customer service.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, customer-needs analysis, and prioritization skills.
• Must work in-office at the Closter Plaza branch in Closter, New Jersey.
