Sales and Service Banker, Trenton, NJ

Location: Trenton, New Jersey, United States; branch-based role with possible support for nearby branches. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Base pay: $34,500–$53,000 annualized.

What you will do

• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer financial needs and recommending tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.
• Build and deepen customer relationships through branch activities, account support, portfolio management, and partner referrals.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other teller transactions while handling cash and maintaining accurate drawer balances.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options through in-person, phone, and digital interactions.
• Resolve customer concerns, support branch sales goals, and collaborate with colleagues and partners.
• Follow regulatory and internal requirements related to operations, risk management, and fraud prevention.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 12 months of sales experience, or at least 6 months of retail banking, financial services, consultative relationship sales, or qualifying hirify.global experience.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• At least 6 months of cash-handling experience.
• Strong relationship-building, customer service, communication, consultative selling, and collaboration skills.
• Computer proficiency, basic math skills, attention to detail, and availability for branch hours including weekends and evenings.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Established work history or equivalent background.
