What you will do

• Support principal investigators with clinical trial protocol development, review, budgeting, and study materials.
• Recruit and register patients for National Cancer Institute, pharmaceutical-sponsored, and cooperative group trials.
• Coordinate patient enrollment, protocol treatment, laboratory and radiographic assessments, admissions, clinic visits, and study completion.
• Collect and prepare specimens, monitor test results, manage protocol data, and document findings.
• Provide protocol education to patients and families, administer medications, and coordinate referrals and care needs.
• Maintain patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality improvement activities, and evidence-based nursing practice.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred. Associate-degree nurses must complete a BSN within four years.
• At least one year of recent Registered Nurse experience.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or, as appropriate, the State of New Hampshire is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required; AHA ACLS is accepted as the minimum requirement.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, clinical research, and oncology knowledge.
• Ambulatory or oncology experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Professional nursing certification such as OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, or RN-BC.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
