Clinical Research Nurse (Cutaneous Oncology)

What you will do

• Support principal investigators with clinical trial protocol development, review, budgeting, and study materials.
• Coordinate recruitment, registration, enrollment, treatment, visits, laboratory and radiographic assessments, and study completion.
• Manage protocol data, monitor test results, collect specimens, and document findings for investigators and attending physicians.
• Provide protocol education to patients and families, adapting communication to age-specific needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care coordination, institute staff, and external organizations to deliver safe patient care.
• Support quality assurance and improvement activities, regulatory compliance, in-service training, and professional reports or presentations.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred. Associate-degree holders must complete a BSN within four years.
• Completion of the Oncology Nurse Residency Program or one year of recent Registered Nurse experience required.
• Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or, as appropriate, New Hampshire required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; AHA ACLS is accepted as the minimum requirement.
• Ambulatory or oncology experience and professional nursing certification are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, evidence-based practice, and clinical research skills are required.
