What you will do

• Manage all branch activities, including customer and employee experience, digital engagement, transactions, servicing, and sales.
• Direct sales and business development to achieve profitability and annual branch goals.
• Coach, develop, evaluate, and motivate branch staff while managing staffing and performance decisions.
• Build Retail and Business Banking relationships through proactive outreach, networking, and community partnerships.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and recommend bundled products and services.
• Maintain operational controls, resolve escalated customer issues, prevent fraud, and protect customer assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Knowledge of Business Banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Ability to coach exceptional customer service, lead teams, develop business, and communicate effectively across the organization.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months; training is provided within the first six months.
• M&T Business Banking Specialist certification is required within 18 months of hire, along with M&T Way and Precision Leadership certifications.
