Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; pay ranges are also listed for Minneapolis, Dallas, and Milwaukee. Work location requirements should be confirmed with the talent acquisition professional.

Salary: $84,540–$157,560 in Chicago; $81,986–$141,770 in Minneapolis and Dallas; $72,000–$143,240 in Milwaukee.

What you will do

  • Partner with Tax service-line, regional, and enterprise leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development.
  • Advise managers and leaders on performance management and compensation review processes.
  • Support organizational design, change initiatives, employee engagement, and learning and development programs.
  • Analyze turnover, engagement, absenteeism, and other HR metrics to recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR business partner or generalist role.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and working with sensitive information discreetly.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analytics tools.

Nice to have

  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
