Lead Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid arrangement with telecommuting available 1 day per week

Contract duration: 6 months or longer

What you will do

• Partner with Product Owners and Software Engineers to define product features and future roadmaps.
• Gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical use cases and user stories.
• Refine product backlogs and support Agile sprint planning and delivery.
• Manage and maintain up to 10 technical user stories concurrently.
• Bridge business intent and technical execution so developers can build and test features efficiently.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience operating at a Lead Business Analyst level.
• Strong technical background and the ability to understand complex architectures, systems, and technical concepts.
• Knowledge of AWS, Java application frameworks, and software testing methodologies.
• Expert-level proficiency with Jira for story tracking, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.

Nice to have

• Experience in Healthcare Insurance.
• Experience with Aha! for product roadmapping and strategy.
