Manufacturing Specialist (Networking Hardware)

Location: On-site in Santa Clara, California, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily production activities and monitor assembly and test processes.
• Enforce quality and safety standards, support root-cause analysis, and optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Document standard operating procedures and maintain production records.
• Train and onboard manufacturing personnel on equipment, tools, and safety practices.
• Manage contract manufacturers across international sites.
• Support the introduction and scaling of new high-tech hardware products.

Requirements

• Relevant technical degree.
• 10–12 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering and operations.
• Direct experience in electronics, networking hardware, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing global contract manufacturers.
• Strong background in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, Lean methodologies, and quality systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical, electronics, mechanical, and thermal documentation, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-speed industrial networking hardware.
