NPC Manufacturing Engineer-CMP (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; on-site manufacturing and clean-room work required

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and Design for Excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues, perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong conceptual knowledge and technical experience for day-to-day problem-solving.
• Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to perform on-site physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment; travel may be required for approximately 10% of the time.
