Maintenance Mechanic 3

Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States; onsite work at the Durham facility. Must be able to work a 2-2-3 day shift: 6:45am–7:00pm or 6:45pm–7:00am.

Salary: $27.00–$38.32 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain production equipment and a high-speed trading card packaging line.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
• Repair and maintain machinery using technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain equipment including friction card feeders, horizontal flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, presses, conveyors, folders, and bindery systems.
• Repair or reproduce replacement parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, and other machine-shop equipment.

Requirements

• Seasoned experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, testing, and maintaining complex machinery.
• Advanced knowledge of machine controls and the ability to distinguish mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic failures.
• Ability to perform precise alignment, parallelism, concentricity, pressure, and flow measurements.
• Ability to interpret multiview drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, technical specifications, and manufacturer documentation.
• Knowledge of construction, assembly, geometry, shop mathematics, fits, clearances, pressure, and flow calculations.
• Ability to work the required 2-2-3 day or night shift at the Durham facility.
