Maintenance Mechanic 3 (Manufacturing)

Location: Durham, NC, United States; onsite production and maintenance role.

Salary: $27.00–$38.32 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain production equipment and a high-speed trading card packaging line.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
• Maintain machinery including card feeders, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, presses, folders, conveyors, and bindery equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and technical documentation to complete repairs.
• Repair or reproduce replacement parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders.

Requirements

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, align, test, and maintain complex machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic failures using machine controls and technical diagrams.
• Make precise adjustments for alignment, parallelism, concentricity, pressure, and flow.
• Interpret multiview drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturer specifications, and other technical materials.
• Apply construction, assembly, geometry, shop mathematics, and handbook formulas to manufacture or assemble replacement parts.
