What you will do

• Interview mortgage applicants, explain financing options, and recommend suitable loan programs based on their goals.
• Originate loans and manage the daily pipeline from application through funding.
• Respond to buyers, borrowers, clients, and Operations throughout the loan process.
• Develop mortgage leads through builder communities and real estate offices, and present loan products to sales staff.
• Review borrower documentation, provide required disclosures, and address discrepancies.
• Attend meetings, loan closings, grand openings, and help resolve post-closing or funding issues when needed.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in mortgage origination, customer relationship management, and business development.
• Ability to review loan documentation accurately and comply with company quality-control policies and applicable regulations.
• Ability to work overtime and provide weekend coverage in builder communities and at grand opening functions.
• Ability to travel overnight when required.
• Professional and ethical approach to customer service and sales.
