Mortgage Advisor (Fintech)

Location: Spokane, Washington, United States

Salary: $21.65 per hour base pay, plus uncapped incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Guide members through mortgage products, applications, underwriting, processing, and funding.
• Assess member needs and structure appropriate conventional, FHA, VA, and home equity lending solutions.
• Build referral partnerships with members, employees, realtors, builders, community organizations, and other professional partners.
• Review automated underwriting files, address application deficiencies, and collaborate with underwriters.
• Coach branch and home loan center teams on mortgage opportunities, processes, products, and service delivery.
• Represent the organization in community events, generate new mortgage business, monitor market trends, and resolve complex member concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or education experience.
• At least 2 years of mortgage loan production experience, including conventional, FHA, and VA products.
• At least 2 years of mortgage loan sales or consultative sales experience in financial services.
• Annual Mortgage Loan Originator registration under SAFE Act requirements is required.
• Strong relationship management, sales, prospecting, follow-up, communication, math, income analysis, and problem-solving skills.
