Manager - LEAN

Location: Remote within the United States, with listed locations in Pittsburgh, PA; Newark, NJ; Chicago, IL; and Charlotte, NC. Travel: 25%–50%.

Salary: $108,479–$184,414 annually.

What you will do

• Lead large, end-to-end improvement programs, balancing delivery quality, business performance, stakeholder engagement, and urgency.
• Partner with and coach leaders, subject-matter experts, and change agents to expand Lean adoption and eliminate organizational waste.
• Apply Lean methods with commercial stakeholders to resolve business problems and improve effectiveness, customer experience, competitiveness, revenue growth, and cost performance.
• Facilitate Goal Deployment, including Hoshin Kanri and Policy Deployment, to establish and execute breakthrough performance goals.
• Deliver Lean training and coaching, manage accreditation portfolios, and track progress, outcomes, and engagement across the enterprise.
• Facilitate Lean interventions with internal stakeholders and end customers in face-to-face and virtual environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or a technical field, or equivalent related experience.
• Five years of Lean leadership experience in a medium or large company, or two years of Lean leadership plus at least three years of sales, project management, change management, Agile, or related experience.
• Experience managing teams and complex, cross-functional improvement initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Extensive change-management experience embedding sustainable performance, processes, and behaviors.
• Strong analytical, process, written, verbal communication, facilitation, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to travel 25%–50% and work within the United States.

Nice to have

• Lean certifications.
• Three or more years of experience in sales, commercial, service, or transactional environments.
