Senior Director, Finance - Operations (Medtech)

Location: Remote - US. Frequent travel to key operations sites and other company locations is required.

Estimated pay range: $206,000.00–$268,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead finance support for Customer Care, Manufacturing, Cost Accounting, Clinical Operations, Quality & Regulatory, and sales and operations planning.
• Advise executive leaders on operations strategy, operating models, risk, profitability, scalability, and long-term value creation.
• Own long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, performance management, cost of revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and capital investments.
• Strengthen cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, close execution, reconciliations, controls, documentation, and analytics.
• Build scalable operations finance capabilities for acquisitions, new products, services, and business adjacencies.
• Develop operating models, dashboards, and metrics connecting demand, capacity, productivity, inventory, supply, and financial outcomes.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or 12+ years with a master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of leadership experience building, stabilizing, and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Deep expertise in operational finance, cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing variances, cost of revenue, financial controls, planning, forecasting, and US GAAP.
• Experience leading finance organizations in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare services, or medtech, including public-company, audit, and SOX-compliant environments.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, communication, judgment, and executive advisory skills, with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

• Experience with QAD or a comparable manufacturing ERP platform.
• Experience integrating acquired businesses and building finance capabilities for new products, services, or adjacencies.
• Experience leading or materially improving a sales and operations planning process.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams or shared-service organizations.
