Director, Business Unit Finance (Bioprocessing)

Location: Remote - Washington, United States

Salary: $178,000–$240,000 base salary per year, plus eligible bonus, commission, and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Partner with the Cell Therapy Business Unit VP and General Manager to support growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.
• Lead monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes for the business unit.
• Develop financial insights, KPI frameworks, predictive analytics, and QBR materials for senior management.
• Support the financial integration of BioLife Solutions into global processes, pending regulatory approval.
• Partner with Product Management, Sales Operations, R&D, Operations, and Business Development on product launches, process improvements, and M&A activities.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic and operational decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant financial leadership experience in a complex, multinational, multi-site manufacturing and product development environment.
• Ability to translate complex data and metrics into clear, actionable business insights.
• Strong executive communication, relationship-building, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience identifying opportunities, leading change, and driving global process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail, business judgment, data analysis, and the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational execution.
