Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Beavercreek Township, Ohio, United States; travel of 10–20% may be required.

What you will do

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure across the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, finance, contracts, executive leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Track risks, dependencies, action items, financial performance, burn rates, forecasts, and earned value metrics where applicable.
• Prepare status meetings and executive-level reporting while managing customer communications.
• Support proposals, project startup, transition-to-execution planning, process improvement, issue resolution, and escalation management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, program management, technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including management of multiple concurrent projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including project schedules, budgets, and status reporting.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with the National Space Intelligence Center, Department of War, federal government, government contracting, national security, or defense technology programs.
• Knowledge of government acquisition processes and contract management.
• Experience in technology, aerospace, defense, cybersecurity, or advanced manufacturing organizations.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, hybrid project management methodologies, classified environments, or Earned Value Management.
