Manufacturing Technician III

Location: PLN - Colorado, 12100 W 6th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80228, USA

Base compensation: $27.04–$33.77 per hour, plus an annual 10% bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and optimize CNC machines, automated systems, and high-precision manufacturing equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor, train, and coordinate technicians and operators to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and workflow improvements.
• Monitor production, equipment, quality, safety, and compliance metrics; conduct audits and maintain detailed reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and product design teams on manufacturability, equipment upgrades, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, operations, or a related technical role, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technician capacity.
• Expertise in manufacturing processes, equipment, industrial automation, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, testing protocols, inspection methods, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to interpret production data, communicate effectively, manage projects, and work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle scientific instruments and samples, use computers, and stand or sit for extended periods.
