Principal Program Manager (Radar Systems)

Location: Onsite in East Syracuse, New York, United States. Travel of up to 25% is required. U.S. citizenship is required, and eligibility for access to classified information may be required.

Salary: $165,700–$223,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead the profitable execution of development programs within the Surveillance division.
• Own cost, schedule, technical performance, budgets, and program management processes across assigned portfolios.
• Drive Earned Value Management and use EVMS to report program status internally and externally.
• Develop business growth strategies, IRAD plans, competitive proposals, and program capture initiatives.
• Build customer and large-prime relationships and identify new opportunities for radar technology deployment.
• Guide junior program managers and support the development and retention of program management talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of program management experience across $50M–$100M+ aerospace or defense program lifecycles.
• Experience designing, developing, and fielding large-scale ground-based or naval radar systems.
• Experience negotiating multimillion-dollar agreements and leading aerospace and defense business capture efforts.
• Advanced knowledge of program management standards, scheduling, cost accounting, EVMS, and risk/opportunity management.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for classified-information access are required.
