Freelance Psychologist - English (Ireland) Speaking

What you will do

• Provide planned and on-demand video consultations, usually lasting 25 minutes.
• Support clients with everyday challenges such as work-related stress, self-confidence, relationships, and uncertainty.
• Help clients define actionable goals and take meaningful first steps.
• Use structured, goal-oriented approaches to build client skills and autonomy.
• Handle sensitive and confidential personal health information with care and professionalism.
• Participate in weekly check-ins, intervision sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Native-level English fluency and a strong understanding of Ireland’s cultural and social context.
• Master’s degree in Psychology.
• At least four years of experience providing 1:1 consultations after obtaining the Psychology master’s degree.
• Solid knowledge of solution-focused therapy, ACT, and/or CBT.
• Tech-savvy and able to work independently with digital platforms and systems.
• Windows 11 or macOS Sonoma 14 with antivirus enabled on the work device.

Nice to have

• Freelance experience and confidence in managing an independent practice.
