Director, Solutions Engineering (Observability)

Location: United States (Remote); ideally located on the East Coast of the US

OTE compensation: $280,000–$357,000 in the US; actual compensation varies by level, experience, and skillset.

What you will do

• Build and manage a high-performing Solutions Engineering organization for the East region.
• Scale the East organization to more than 20 Solutions Engineers across multiple products, industries, segments, and go-to-market motions.
• Partner with Sales RVPs, Sales RSDs, AEs, and Solutions Engineering Managers to improve win rates and execution.
• Develop repeatable processes, playbooks, job architectures, enablement, and scaling programs.
• Advise on strategic enterprise opportunities and engage directly with customers.
• Bring field feedback into product and go-to-market strategy while strengthening cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• United States location, ideally on the East Coast
• At least 2 years of second-line Solutions Engineering leadership experience.
• Experience scaling teams to more than 30 employees.
• Proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• Experience with open source, developer-centric go-to-market motions, or observability.
• Extensive experience with complex enterprise sales.
