HRIS Analyst (Workday)

Location: Remote within the United States or onsite at hubs in San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY

Annual base salary: $140,000–$202,000 USD

What you will do

• Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM business processes, notifications, alerts, condition rules, and validations.
• Maintain Workday security roles and assignments while supporting SOX compliance and security best practices.
• Manage the HRIS support queue, resolve system issues, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements.
• Lead projects that translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions across Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits, Performance, and Absence.
• Build and troubleshoot Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and EIB integrations for data imports, exports, and mass updates.
• Evaluate Workday releases, test enhancements, recommend adoption opportunities, and maintain configuration and operating documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM business processes and administering security at a public company.
• Experience managing an HRIS support queue and responding to end-user support requests.
• Proficiency creating, executing, and troubleshooting EIBs, standard and advanced reports, and calculated fields.
• Understanding of HR business processes across the employee lifecycle, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States or from a US hub location.
