Lead Analyst, HRIS (Workday & AI)

Location: Fully remote, based in Italy

Salary: €55,000–€70,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Advise HR leaders and specialist teams on Workday solutions and translate requirements into system designs.
• Configure, test, validate, document, and implement changes across Core HCM, Talent, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, business processes, reporting, and security.
• Build, configure, test, and deploy AI-enabled solutions, automation, and intelligent workflows across Workday and other HR technology platforms.
• Manage recurring annual processes, including year-end performance reviews and calibration, while ensuring data accuracy, governance, privacy, and compliance.
• Resolve complex Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues, lead releases and assigned projects, and coordinate stakeholders and testers.
• Mentor HRIS analysts, provide technical guidance, and promote consistent support and documentation practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years of relevant HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise application experience.
• Significant hands-on Workday configuration and support experience across multiple functional areas, including Talent and Talent Acquisition or Recruiting.
• Proficiency in Workday reporting, calculated fields, condition rules, security concepts, testing, and release management.
• Experience independently resolving complex issues and managing projects or project activities from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, advisory, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to apply AI responsibly and securely, with close attention to data privacy, security, governance, accuracy, and human oversight.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI agents, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions.
• Workday certifications and experience with Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Integrations, Power BI, or HR analytics.
• Experience supporting global organizations, mergers and acquisitions, mentoring analysts, or leading small project teams.
