Technology Delivery Lead (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States — IL-Chicago, 70 W Madison St, Floor 10. Employment is regular, full-time, with 40 weekly hours. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional incentive compensation may be available.

What you will do

• Lead planning and execution of technology work products for application development, modernization, and enterprise-scale internal and external solutions.
• Establish delivery approaches, resource allocations, governance, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and vendor invoice tracking.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methods across teams and business units.
• Manage dependencies, risks, issues, change requests, technology triage, intake processes, and ServiceNow change coordination.
• Support Microsoft Azure cloud migration and modernization initiatives in alignment with architecture, security, and business requirements.
• Prepare executive status reports, maintain SDLC documentation and records, support audits and steering committees, and coordinate transition to business-as-usual.

Requirements

• Experience managing technology projects for application development teams, preferably in financial services or another regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, executive reporting, and stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of SDLC, governance, documentation, data lifecycle management, and records management requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure migration and modernization, plus tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Planview, and ServiceNow.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, technical delivery, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Scrum and/or Azure certification.
