Assistant Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Aurora, Colorado, United States; on-site with travel of up to 75% of the time

Salary: $100,000–$135,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Support senior project managers in executing electrical construction projects.
• Develop and maintain project management processes to meet schedule requirements.
• Initiate and track change orders while coordinating scope changes between field management and project owners.
• Support subcontractor oversight, project budgeting, and the preparation of schedules of values.
• Oversee project engineers handling RFIs, submittals, quantity take-offs, and material tracking.
• Coordinate project closeout documentation and support quality control during construction and commissioning.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer supporting electrical or mechanical construction projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management software, including Microsoft 365, Accubid, and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards is advantageous.
• Frequent work may take place at outdoor industrial sites and fabrication shops with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, and uneven terrain.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Data center construction experience.
