Project & Program Management II (Data Center)

Location: Fremont, California, United States; work remotely or from the local client office, with availability across multiple North American timezones.

Salary: $66,120–$104,400 USD gross annual base pay.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate large-scale data center and technical network deployment projects from initiation through closure.
• Manage project requirements, scope, feasibility assessments, timelines, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and change control.
• Coordinate network engineers, data center technicians, internal stakeholders, functional teams, vendors, and client partners across project phases.
• Manage assets and materials, project documentation, training, status reporting, metrics, and KPIs.
• Identify project risks, perform risk analysis, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve cross-functional gaps.
• Evaluate post-project performance and recommend improvements to delivery processes and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 2–5 years of related experience.
• 2–5 years of project management experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, preferably supporting data centers or network hardware.
• At least 2 years of experience with data center lifecycles and/or large-scale networks.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, organizational, stakeholder management, and risk management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, create spreadsheets and presentations, track metrics, and communicate updates to client executives.
• Willingness to work across multiple North American timezones remotely or from the local client office.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, or CPMP certification.
• Understanding of the OSI model.
• Familiarity with different project management methodologies.
