Policy Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in and be able to perform work in the U.S. and must have lived in the U.S. for three of the last five years. On-site work is available for those who prefer the Arlington, Virginia or Baltimore, Maryland offices.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams in designing and delivering health IT solutions aligned with federal health policies.
• Translate complex policy requirements into scalable, user-centered product features.
• Support the implementation and evaluation of Alternative Payment Models and value-based care programs.
• Analyze healthcare data, define OKRs, and identify product improvements.
• Oversee requirements gathering, testing, iteration, and other product lifecycle activities.
• Prepare client-facing presentations, reports, memoranda, and proposal materials while collaborating with policy, engineering, government client, and external partner teams.

Requirements

• Must reside and work in the United States.
• Must have lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in public policy, public health, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in project management, product ownership, or policy analysis, with exposure to healthcare data or health services research.
• Experience interpreting policy and translating it into technical, analytical, or operational solutions, supported by strong data analysis and performance measurement skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence, plus strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal health programs or value-based care models.
• Experience preparing proposals, reports, and client-facing deliverables.
