Business Solution Manager (Healthcare Data)

Location: Work from anywhere; clients are US health plans and healthcare partners.

What you will do

• Lead discovery sessions with client subject matter experts to understand business context, pain points, outcomes, and success criteria.
• Define clear, testable business and non-functional requirements with full traceability from business needs to delivery.
• Translate requirements into source-to-target data flows, transformation logic, business rules, and buildable designs.
• Use SQL hands-on to analyze data, test assumptions, and prototype solutions.
• Assess dataset grain, dependencies, and downstream impacts across reports, models, workstreams, states, and use cases.
• Represent client intent and provide clear hand-offs to Solution Architecture, Product, QA, Account Management, and Program Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the US healthcare domain and with healthcare data.
• Required experience working with or for a US health plan across Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial lines of business.
• Working knowledge of membership and enrollment, providers, claims, benefits, and authorizations.
• SQL is required for data exploration, testing, and prototyping.
• Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements, communicating with clients, and operating across complex multi-workstream engagements.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Business Data Analyst combining requirements work with hands-on data analysis.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, HEDIS, Stars quality reporting, risk adjustment, payment integrity, value-based care analytics, provider data management, or CMS interoperability.
• Knowledge of data modeling, Medicaid data, or PBM platforms.
