Maintenance Planner

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, USA; on-site role

What you will do

• Review maintenance work orders and develop detailed job plans aligned with priorities and execution timelines.
• Assess equipment and documentation to define scope, labor, materials, tools, permits, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance, reliability engineering, and operations teams to validate and optimize plans.
• Create complete job packages including procedures, drawings, P&IDs, photographs, maintenance standards, and safety information.
• Coordinate materials, services, and specialized tools, while monitoring lead times and schedule risks.
• Maintain SAP master data, bills of materials, procedures, equipment records, and lessons learned from completed work.

Requirements

• Industrial maintenance apprenticeship, trade school training, or equivalent technical education.
• At least three years of progressive experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, electrical distribution systems, mechanical equipment, and industrial maintenance processes.
• Experience with CMMS or MRIS systems, preferably SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, develop cost-effective work plans, and communicate effectively across functions.
• Commitment to safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Maintenance planning experience in food, beverage, chemical, or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Advanced SAP Plant Maintenance experience, including master data management and bill of materials optimization.
• Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement methods.
