Manufacturing Technician (UPE Membrane)

Location: Bedford, MA, United States; onsite manufacturing environment. Schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday.

Salary: $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience, plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, shut down, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment for the UPE Membrane product line.
• Analyze process and test data to improve product quality, yield, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Use HMIs, SCADA, and statistical process control to identify and correct process shifts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, and operating inefficiencies.
• Support material preparation, inventory transactions, quality processes, product development, equipment validations, and process validations.
• Create and update SOPs, maintain 6S standards, and train and certify manufacturing operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read documented processes, procedures, specifications, work orders, and SOPs.
• Basic math, computer data entry, measuring-device, and hand-tool skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk throughout the shift, climb a ladder up to four feet, and perform repetitive reaching, bending, grasping, and twisting.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing and cleanroom environment while following PPE and safety requirements.
