Assembly Technician, 2nd Shift (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Assemble subassemblies and finished medical device products according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Set up and operate production equipment in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Interpret blueprints, bills of materials, schematics, and assembly drawings to ensure products meet specifications.
• Test products and subassemblies, perform qualification protocols, and troubleshoot equipment or product issues.
• Generate assembly records for Device History Records and support material cycle counting.
• Maintain organized work areas using 5S, handle scrap responsibly, and support engineering development activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least one year of related experience is preferred.
• Experience with small-parts assembly and the ability to use torque wrenches, hand tools, power supplies, meters, fixtures, and tooling.
• Familiarity with GMP environments and technical production documentation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and solve problems critically.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Experience working for a medical device manufacturer.
• Clean-room experience.
