TL;DR
Program Finance Analyst (Automotive): Supporting full vehicle lifecycle profitability through cost and price management from early concept through production with an accent on financial performance analysis, target management, and cross-functional planning. Focus on identifying cost and price drivers, guiding manufacturing and investment decisions, and standardizing tools for data-driven profitability management.
Location: Plano, Texas, United States. This is an onsite, full-time role. Candidates must already have the right to work in the United States and must not require current or future immigration sponsorship.

What you will do
- Support project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and timelines from vehicle concept through production.
- Align profit targets with Sales, Design, Plant, Logistics, and other functional groups.
- Analyze Cost Planning, Pricing, Ideal Budget, and PBM Actuals across lifecycle phases.
- Identify cost and price drivers, perform gap-to-target analysis, and support recovery actions.
- Monitor profitability risks and opportunities while supporting target management.
- Contribute to plant, line, localization, capacity planning, and capital investment analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Product or Program Finance, FP&A, or strategic cost and profit analysis.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and financial storytelling.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, plus exposure to data visualization tools.
- Ability to support multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must have United States work authorization without current or future immigration sponsorship.
Nice to have
- MBA or another advanced degree in a related field.
- Project management coursework, experience, or PMP/CAPM certification.
- Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, Power BI, or other financial systems.
- Experience with vehicle lifecycle management, cost planning, manufacturing finance, process improvement, or tool development.
