Senior Actuary Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States. This is an onsite, full-time role. Candidates must have the right to work in the United States and must not require Toyota immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Develop, review, and implement pricing strategies and filed premium rates for insurance and protection products.
• Lead pricing analysis for vehicle maintenance plans, key replacement, GAP coverage, and other vehicle purchase and lease products.
• Build, test, and refine predictive models and analytical frameworks using large and complex datasets.
• Monitor claims, operating expenses, earnings patterns, profitability, trends, and emerging risks across product segments.
• Lead quarterly development and delivery of unpaid claims estimates and loss projections.
• Partner with product, accounting, and cross-functional teams to support rate filings, risk recognition, and business decisions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in actuarial modeling and production analytics, including pricing, reserving, forecasting, or loss analysis.
• Experience developing actuarial solutions with Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of statistical and data analysis methods, predictive modeling, version control, model documentation, validation, testing, and peer review.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support is required.

Nice to have

• ACAS or equivalent actuarial certification.
• Experience with pricing analyses, rate indications, state rate filings, reserving, and unpaid claim estimates.
• Experience with warranty, vehicle service contract, insurance, or similar protection products.
• Experience with model governance, actuarial controls, profitability analysis, or analytical automation.
