Director, Operations & Transformation - Goleta, CA

Location: Hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week at the Goleta, California location. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $175,000–$185,000 per year, plus performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead operational improvement and transformation initiatives aligned with business strategy.
• Optimize end-to-end processes across Operations, IT, Finance, HR, and Customer Service.
• Improve service quality, efficiency, scalability, profitability, and effectiveness through KPI and SLA management.
• Lead cross-functional projects, establishing scope, timelines, governance, and delivery practices.
• Translate business requirements into actionable solutions and oversee implementation.
• Provide senior leaders with data-driven recommendations while managing risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in business transformation, consulting, operations, or operational excellence, including experience with health systems.
• Expertise in customer operations and product lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of operational excellence, process optimization, and change management.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives in complex environments, with strong analytical and financial data interpretation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
