Electrical/Controls Engineering Co-Op (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite internship

Salary: $25 per hour

What you will do

• Apply electrical engineering and technological training to assigned product development projects.
• Perform calculations and engineering analysis for component selection.
• Define product characteristics and specifications.
• Establish and coordinate development schedules.
• Support materials teams with supplier selection and assist sales and service field activities.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028; current sophomores and juniors are preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering.
• Ability to perform mathematical analysis, interpret schematics and technical procedures, and solve practical engineering problems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of analog power management, digital signal processors, processor-controlled data acquisition, or device control.
• Experience with PADS or other schematic and PCB layout systems.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer.
• Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
