Supervisor - Epic Cogito Analytics (Epic Cogito Analytics)

Location: Remote within the United States. The role may require on-call participation and travel to WVUHS facilities or affiliated sites for implementations, training, and support.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operations, workload management, professional development, and career growth of an IT analytics team.
• Coordinate the design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of clinical, business, and analytics systems.
• Oversee complex issue resolution, test scripts, system documentation, production incidents, and service requests.
• Manage project assignments, resource allocation, milestones, vendor coordination, status reporting, and delivery of reporting and data initiatives.
• Support Epic clinical and operational workflows and their impact on Clarity, Caboodle, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and Power BI environments.
• Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders while improving data quality, governance, scalability, and patient safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or a related field and three years of relevant IT experience; alternatively, an associate’s degree with four years of experience or a high school diploma with five years of experience.
• Experience leading IT operations, projects, customer support, or analytics teams, including hiring, mentoring, prioritization, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of Epic clinical and operational workflows, including ambulatory scheduling, registration, inpatient ADT, Clarity, and Caboodle.
• Experience with data governance, data definitions, lineage, stewardship, data quality, and identifying workflow issues at the source.
• Experience designing data models, pipelines, and reporting structures using Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and/or Power BI.
• Strong project coordination, executive stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, and team facilitation skills.
