Central Operations Specialist (Banking)

Location: Remote within Washington, Idaho, California, and Oregon; Spokane, Washington

Salary: $19.21–$26.90 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Support specific retail banking operational areas and provide day-to-day operational assistance to branches.
• Administer function-specific systems and user access for related applications.
• Respond to staff inquiries about complex procedures, applications, and access, and provide training.
• Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity testing, bankwide problem-solving projects, and critical incident response.
• Analyze user feedback, documented resolutions, and recurring issues to recommend process improvements.
• Support SilverLake release activities through defect review, testing, training documentation, and updates to internal resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 0–2 years of clerical, banking, client service, retail banking, or operations experience.
• Excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet critical deadlines, work independently, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies; knowledge of federal and state banking regulations.
