Verification Specialist I (Consumer Finance)

What you will do

• Verify customer loan information through inbound and outbound calls, including identity, Social Security number, address, employment, documentation, and project completion.
• Handle dealer and customer questions regarding loan terms, interest, statements, account information, and verification disputes.
• Identify unusual information, investigate discrepancies, and escalate verification or risk-related issues to management.
• Update operating systems accurately and document call notes according to company procedures.
• Review loan processing status and documentation to route calls to the appropriate department.

Requirements

• Two years of call center or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
• Strong typing skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under deadline pressure.
• Professional phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance, ability to follow direction, collaborate, concentrate, and adapt to change.
• One evening shift per week and one Saturday shift every seven weeks.
