TL;DR
Senior Data Analyst (Data Quality & Reporting), Brazil (SQL/Power BI): Validating curated Finance data, migrated reports, and dashboards against trusted benchmarks and legacy outputs with an accent on reconciliation, data-quality controls, and stakeholder acceptance evidence. Focus on investigating variances, documenting root causes, building Power BI quality reporting, and supporting parallel-run and cutover validation.

What you will do
- Define and run data-quality checks and reconciliation logic against curated Finance data and approved benchmarks.
- Validate migrated and re-pointed reports and dashboards against legacy outputs, including parallel-run comparisons during cutover.
- Profile data-quality issues and reconciliation variances, working with Data Engineering to identify and document root causes.
- Build and maintain data-quality dashboards and reports in Power BI or an equivalent enterprise BI tool.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality thresholds.
- Produce reconciliation results, parallel-run comparisons, sign-off packages, and maintainable data-quality documentation.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a data analyst or BI analyst with strong hands-on SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience building or validating reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI tool.
- Experience with a data-quality or reconciliation framework, such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or structured manual reconciliation.
- Experience working with financial or accounting data and closed-period reconciliation constraints.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written documentation skills.
- Fluent English at B2 level is required for coordinating findings and delivery-gate evidence with client stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial or GL reporting, including charts of accounts, dimensions, and close processes.
- Experience validating report or dashboard migrations from legacy systems.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
- Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services reporting.
