Senior Data Analyst

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid workplace model with at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from requirements gathering and data sourcing through modeling, visualization, and stakeholder presentation.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and automated reporting pipelines using SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
• Translate complex Capital Markets data into actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify source-data gaps and develop scalable, automated solutions that improve data architecture and reporting quality.
• Coordinate workstreams, maintain production reporting timelines, and ensure quality standards.
• Mentor junior analysts through technical guidance, code reviews, and structured feedback.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related function; exceptional candidates with 3+ years may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, CTEs, temporary tables, and query optimization across SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Advanced Power BI expertise covering semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, data pipeline design, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python or R, strong stakeholder communication, and experience working with large, multi-source datasets.
• Experience with AI tools and agents, with the ability to validate, refine, and contextualize generated outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, investment management, or capital markets.
• Advanced degree or certifications such as CFA or PMP.
• Experience integrating enterprise data sources such as Bloomberg or Aladdin extracts.
