Manufacturing Technician (Caddy) 1st

What you will do

• Improve CNC and Caddy programs to address machining quality issues, extend tool life, and reduce cycle times.
• Conduct advanced tooling trials and perform mechanical realignments of CNC and Caddy equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues with Maintenance.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Maintenance, and Lean teams with process, equipment, and tooling improvements.
• Create manufacturing documentation and work instructions for CNC and Caddy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, use precision measuring equipment, and assist with relocating and installing large machinery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school education is preferred.
• 1–2 years of direct CNC machining setup experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent print-reading skills, including GD&T; 3D modeling and CAD proficiency is a plus.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, lift 35 pounds, and occasionally push or pull 75 pounds or more while working around noise, dust, grease, and heavy machinery.
