Senior Director - Strategic Program Management (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York City; positions in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York follow a hybrid work model. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $188,000–$235,000 per year in Phoenix, Chicago, and Washington, DC; $226,000–$282,000 per year in New York and San Francisco. Additional discretionary incentive plan and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Lead the execution of technology-intensive strategic programs and product launches on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Manage interrelated project workstreams, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, resources, risks, and deployment activities.
• Establish program management policies, procedures, templates, tools, roles, and best practices from ideation through in-market realization.
• Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of program and project management practitioners.
• Monitor performance, identify emerging blockers, resolve issues, and communicate progress and metrics to executive leadership and cross-functional leads.
• Coordinate with external partners and support risk management and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Program Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15 or more years of program or project management experience with people leadership in matrixed business and technical environments.
• Experience in financial institutions or similarly regulated industries, software development processes, and product build and run phases.
• Experience with product launches or large-scale technical product coordination, including modern B2B SaaS product launch activities.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile, Waterfall, and the full Software Development Life Cycle, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, coaching, and collaboration skills.
• U.S. work authorization is required at the date of hire; the position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Background and drug screening are required.
