Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (Security)

Location: Hybrid, onsite three days per week in Bellevue, Seattle, San Francisco, or Mountain View, United States

Salary: $180,200–$243,340 USD per year, plus potential annual bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and drive a company-wide portfolio of strategic security programs across Trust & Safety Engineering, Identity and Access Management, Security, and IT.
• Turn security strategy into architecture decisions, investment plans, execution roadmaps, measurable risk reduction, and operational controls.
• Establish processes for identifying, tracking, and resolving high-risk security issues while influencing infrastructure and platform decisions.
• Connect security infrastructure with platform services to extend unified identity, data lineage, and audit controls across structured, unstructured, and AI workloads.
• Resolve cross-organizational blockers with Director-, VP-, and C-suite engineering leaders while balancing technical tradeoffs and resources.
• Mentor TPMs, improve technical program standards, and represent security architecture and posture in executive reviews and industry forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, security program management, or an equivalent technical leadership role.
• Ability to translate security, privacy, policy, and compliance objectives into technical strategy, architecture decisions, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience resolving conflicting priorities and resource constraints across cross-functional teams without direct authority, establishing organization-wide engineering processes, and delivering complex multi-team roadmaps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex technical strategies to executive engineering leaders.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week in Bellevue, Seattle, San Francisco, or Mountain View.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, or complex distributed data-processing environments.
• Prior hands-on experience as a software, systems, or security engineer.
• Familiarity with unified data governance, distributed-systems security, and controls for AI and machine-learning infrastructure.
• Experience with external security research, open-source contributions, or major technical conferences.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools for program strategy, technical problem-solving, analysis, and automation.
