Senior Aircraft Electrical Technician (H145 FAL)

Location: Columbus, Mississippi, United States; 98% onsite. Applicants must be a US Person under ITAR and have current US work authorization.

What you will do

• Fabricate, repair, install, and replace aircraft electrical and electronic components and systems.
• Perform avionics work, aircraft maintenance, refurbishment, and helicopter-specific program support.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams, vendor manuals, and service manuals to meet dimensions, tolerances, and alignment requirements.
• Use standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment.
• Coordinate schedules, parts, supplies, tools, materials, and job requirements with leads and other departments.
• Complete work records and verify compliance with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience working on aircraft avionics, preferably rotorcraft.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and aircraft repair specifications.
• Ability to independently assess wiring issues and install components.
• Familiarity with common aviation tools and standard shop practices.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• US Person status under ITAR and current US work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available unless specifically stated.
