Director, Innovation Productivity - MedTech Surgery (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in Raritan, New Jersey, or Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

Salary: $164,000–$282,900 base pay annually

What you will do

• Analyze product development and lifecycle maintenance processes to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and speed.
• Lead cross-functional assessments of workflows, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies using emerging technologies to streamline R&D operations and improve productivity.
• Use data analytics and AI tools to generate insights and support data-driven decisions.
• Lead initiatives that optimize processes across product development and lifecycle maintenance.
• Present progress, outcomes, and recommendations to senior leadership while advising R&D leaders on opportunity areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree such as an MBA or MS is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in process improvement, particularly in R&D, supply chain, or program management.
• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics and AI technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
