Internal Audit Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Plan and conduct risk-based audits of business processes and operations with a multi-skilled audit team.
• Identify internal control weaknesses and recommend efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
• Work directly with clients, participate in discussions and meetings, and address client needs.
• Prepare concise and accurate audit documents while managing projects and changing priorities.
• Develop automation and analytical tools to support audit activities and business processes.
• Communicate potential conflicts and manage assigned tasks from start to finish.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a relevant field such as quantitative disciplines, data science, artificial intelligence, business administration, or an MBA.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, holding a valid work or study permit.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and conceptual information.
• Interest in internal audit, data analytics, technology operations, security, resilience, or technology audits.
• Able to assume responsibility, manage priorities, collaborate with clients, and deliver work within short time frames.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of VBA.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Interest or experience in technology risk and technology audits.
