Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Own recurring components of the monthly close and coordinate the close calendar with the external accounting partner.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages covering company and state-level P&Ls, variable unit economics, and leadership financials.
• Build and maintain department- and state-level budget-versus-actual reporting and explain variances to budget owners.
• Prepare board and lender financial materials.
• Support annual planning and reforecast cycles by consolidating expense budgets.
• Run internal ROI analyses with Operations, Technology, Marketing, and People leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a comparable analytical finance role.
• Experience owning monthly close and financial reporting cycles, with a strong understanding of accruals and financial statements.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including building and auditing models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop data-backed recommendations.
• Experience in healthcare, digital healthcare, multi-state operations, another regulated environment, or claims-based revenue.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite, Claude, Claude for Excel, or a business intelligence tool such as Lightdash.
